Dev hails from the exotic land of Connecticut; though known for its posh polo & rugby inspired neighborhoods in Fairfield county, she did not pick up this rough and tumble sport until the tender age of 25.  Ever wishing she had discovered it sooner, she decided to bring her love of rugby to children so that none could reiterate the harrowing words, “Where has this been all my life?!”

Dev has donned a preposterous number of nicknames but none more characteristic than “Hey Mon” for her willingness and aptitude to conquer any job thrown her way.  She has come leaps and bounds since her high-school days leading the “YMCA” at Bar/Bat Mizvah Celebrations throughout New England.  While running LIL’ RUGGERS, she also manages the Compliance and HR Departments of Odeon Capital Group (a boutique Financial Services firm in Midtown).   Prior to this, she directed operations at Super Soccer Stars (a leading youth soccer organization in New York), managed all logistics for VP Al Gore’s speaking engagements at the Harry Walker Agency, and even scheduled New York’s own Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo.  In her spare time (impossible to imagine she has any), Dev can be seen tearing it up on the pitch with the Village Lions as the starting A-Side Inside Center.  She is a certified USA Rugby Coach.

Dev is a Cum Laude Graduate of New York University and currently resides nearby her alma matter in the East Village with her four-legged buddy Bogart (the inspiration for the LIL’ RUGGERS logo). She drools over breakfast wraps from Montauk’s infamous Joni’s restaurant in the summer months, and can be seen carving (snowboarding to the layman) down any Northeast Mountain she can find in the winter. She adores her friends and family and is thankful for all the love and support they have shown to her and LIL’ RUGGERS.

Josh’s big dreams and entrepreneurial spirit started at a young age where he convinced the local neighborhood crew that winning the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes was not only possible, but also likely.  While awaiting the Prize Patrol, Josh cut lawns, delivered pizzas, graduated from Northeastern, worked on Capitol Hill, toiled away on a Presidential campaign (John Edwards – that didn’t go well), did the Wall St. thing, and now, if he has anything to say about it, works for the next Attorney General of New York.  While Josh is saddened that it won’t be Ed McMahon (may he rest in peace), he’s still hopeful that Publishers Clearing House will come knocking.  In the meantime, he’s dedicated to helping his sister live out her LIL’ RUGGERS dream.

Jill “Beans” Rubino (errr Brumberger) is the LIL’ RUGGERS in-house, pre-school expert.  A UCONN grad (go Huskies!), Jill has over 10 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education and development.  Beans currently teaches at West End Collegiate Playschool.  When not educating little ones, or pretending to take her husband seriously, she can be found walking in Riverside Park with her 100lb best friend, Cassius the chocolate lab (seen below).

Josh and Jill call New York City home.

This is just a shameless ploy to model our pups.
LIL’ RUGGERS® has been, and will always be, a dog-friendly environment.
